Billy Crystal was the host for the 76th Academy Awards ceremony held Feb 29, 2004 in the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. This was the night that the Lord of the Rings finally received its due. The third movie in the trilogy, The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King took home eleven Oscars including Best Picture. The movie Mystic River won two big awards - Best Actor for Sean Penn and Best Supporting Actor for Tim Robbins.
