Jennifer Lopez hosted the 43rd Annual American Music Awards, a show which saw One Direction win Artist of the Year for the second year in a row, along with Favorite Pop/Rock Group.

Taylor Swift had the most nominations with six and won three awards including Pop/Rock Album and Song of the Year. Other multiple winners included The Weeknd, Florida Georgia Line, and Nicki Minaj.

Performers included Pentatonix, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber and many more. Celine Dion performed a tribute to the people of Paris in the wake of the terrorist attacks there.
