At the 51st Country Music Association Awards Chris Stapleton won his third male vocalist award and Miranda Lambert won her seventh female vocalist award. Garth Brooks won his sixth Entertainer of the Year award and Brothers Osborne won two awards for vocal duo and video of the year. The ceremony was hosted by Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood for the tenth time.
