Who Won Nebraska Elections in 2006?

Incumbent Republican Governor Dave Heineman had no trouble winning re-election over Democratic challenger David Hahn, receiving 74% of the vote. Incumbent Democratic Senator Ben Nelson had almost as easy a time defeating challenger Pete Ricketts.

Republicans won all three House seats in Nebraska in 2006. Jeff Fortenberry and Lee Terry won re-election, while Adrian Smith won an open seat in the 3rd District.
