North Dakota Governor John Hoeven (pictured) easily won his re-election bid in 2008 against Democratic challenger Tim Mathern.

The Democratic Congressman from North Dakota, Earl Pomeroy, also easily won re-election over Republican Duane Sand.

North Dakota Senator Byron Dorgan is up for re-election in 2010. Senator Kent Conrad's term expires in 2012.

John McCain won North Dakota's 3 electoral votes.
