South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (pictured) won his re-election bid in 2008 against Democrat challenger Bob Conley.

There was no turnover in the House of Representatives either, as all six incumbents won re-election.

Senator Jim DeMint's term expires in 2010. The next South Carolina Gubernatorial Election is in 2010 as well.

John McCain won the eight electoral votes from South Carolina.
