Republican Nathan Deal (pictured) won the 2010 Governor's race in Georgia over Democrat Roy Barnes. Incumbent Republican Governor Sonny Perdue was term-limited and unable to seek re-election.

Incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson won re-election to a second term.

Georgia sent two new members to the House of Representatives - Rob Woodall in the 7th and Austin Scott in the 8th.
