Neil Abercrombie won the Governor's race in Hawaii in 2010, sending a Democrat back to the office after eight years of Republican Linda Lingle.

Senator Daniel Inouye won re-election. He has been a senator since 1963.

The Democrats also won both House seats, including newcomer Colleen Hanabusa who knocked off Republican incumbent Charles Djou.
