All three incumbents for Vermont's major offices won re-election in 2012.

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders won a second term, as did Governor Peter Shumlin. Congressman Peter Welch easily won with 72% of the vote.

Barack Obama won the three electoral votes from Vermont with 66% of the vote.
