Who Won Washington Elections in 2012?

Incumbent Governor Christine Gregoire did not run for a third term. Democrat congressman Jay Inslee defeated Washington attorney general Rob McKenna to win the open seat.

There were three open seats in the House of Representatives and the Democrats took all three. Suzan DelBene won in the 1st, Derek Kilmer in the 6th and Denny Heck in the 10th.

Senator Maria Cantwell easily won re-election over Republican challenger Michael Baumgartner, and Barack Obama won Washington's 12 electoral votes.
