Republican Governor Butch Otter ran for a third term in office. He won his third term by defeating Democrat businessman A.J. Balukoff.

Incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Jim Risch won a second term with an easy win over Democratic challenger Nels Mitchell.

Idaho's two Republican members of the House of Representatives, Raul Labrador and Mike Simpson, both ran for re-election and both won easily with over 60% of the vote.
