Who Won Louisiana Elections in 2014?
Incumbent U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu did not receive at least 50% in the general election, so the race went to a runoff election on December 6 where she lost to Republican and former 6th District Congressman Bill Cassidy.
Cassidy's vacated seat in the 6th District went to a runoff election as well, and Republican Garret Graves won over Edwin Edwards.
In the 5th District incumbent Vance McAllister did not receive enough votes in the general election to advance to the runoff. His seat was taken by fellow Republican Ralph Abraham.
The incumbents won easily in the other four Congressional seats.
