Incumbent governor Brian Sandoval won a second term in 2014 by easily defeating Democrat Robert Goodman.

Three members of the House of Representatives won re-election (Dina Titus, Mark Amodei and Joe Heck). In the 4th District incumbent Democrat Steven Horsford lost a close race to Republican and member of the Nevada Assembly Cresent Hardy.
