Incumbent Governor Lincoln Chafee retired, leaving an open seat. Fellow Democrat Gina Raimondo (pictured) won the election over Republican Allan Fung and Moderate Robert Healey.

Incumbent U.S. Senator Jack Reed easily won a fourth term to represent Rhode Island over former state Republican Party Chair Mark Zaccaria.

The two incumbent Congressmen from Rhode Island, David Cicilline and Jim Langevin, both won re-election.
