Incumbents had an easy time of it in Alabama's 2016 elections with almost all winning handily, including Senator Richard Shelby.

The only race that was relatively close was in the 2nd District where Martha Roby won with only 48.8% of the vote.

Donald Trump won Alabama's nine electoral votes with a convincing 62% of the vote.
