The Academy Of Country Music began giving out their Top Male Vocalist award in 1966. Since then there have been many notable winners including Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, George Strait, and Alan Jackson.
The most recent winner of the Top Male Vocalist award was Blake Shelton in 2012. Brad Paisley had won the previous five years in a row. Merle Haggard has the most wins with six.
