The fifth edition of Nashville Star was won by 29 year old Angela Hacker of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. She received the most votes by the viewers of the talent competition.
As the winner, Angela Hacker receives a recording contract with Warner Brothers Records and brand-new Chevy Silverado.
Jewel and Cowboy Troy hosted the show's fifth season, which included finalists David St Romain of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Angela's brother Zac Hacker.
