Baylor's duel threat quarterback Robert Griffin III was the 2011 winner of the Heisman Trophy.

Griffin was the nation's leading passer with 3,998 yards, 36 touchdowns and only six interceptions. He also ran for 644 yards and nine more touchdowns, leading the Bears to a 9-3 record.

The winner garnered 405 first place votes and a total of 1,687 points. Runner up (for the second year) Andrew Luck of Stanford got 247 first place votes and 1,407 points.

Baylor had never had a player finish higher than fourth in Heisman voting.
