The 63rd Annual Golden Globes were held January 16, 2006.

The big winners were "Brokeback Mountain" and "Walk the Line". "Brokeback Mountain" won four awards including Best Motion Picture (Drama), while "Walk the Line" swept the top three awards in the Musical/Comedy Motion Picture category.

The Golden Globes are selected by about 80 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
