Who Won Utah Elections in 2008?

Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Jr faced re-election in 2008 and easily defeated DFL challenger Bob Springmeyer.

Jason Chaffetz (pictured left) defeated incumbent Chris Cannon in the Republican primary for District 3, and then went on to easily win the seat in the general election.

Utah Senator Bob Bennett will be up for re-election in 2010, while Senator Orrin Hatch's term expires in 2012.

John McCain won Utah's 5 electoral votes.
