The Miss World Pageant for 2009 was held at the Gallagher Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was the 59th year for the pageant which this year had 112 contestants from around the globe - the biggest turnout of contestants to date.
Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar was crowned Miss World 2009, with the 1st Runner Up being Perla Beltran of Mexico.
