Y.E. Yang wins the 2009 PGA ChampionshipAug 16, 2009

Tiger Woods had never lost going into the final day of a major with the lead - until the 2009 PGA Championship. Y.E. Yang shot -13 over the final 49 holes and ended up cruising to a three shot victory.

Yang, who was born in South Korea and took up the game at age 19, had been ranked 110th. He was the first Asian born player to win a major.
