Who Won the Consumers Energy 400?

The Consumers Energy 400 is a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race held yearly at the Michigan International Speedway. The race began in 1969 as a 600 mile race - the Yankee 600. The next year it went to 400 miles. In 1975 it became known as the Champion Spark Plug 400 and stayed that way until 1993. Other sponsors have included GM Goodwrench, Pepsi, 3M, Carfax and Pure Michigan. The race was not held in 1973, when an IndyCar race was held instead.
