Who Won Production Design Oscars?
From "The Dove" and "Tempest" in 1929 to "All Quiet On The Western Front" in 2023, the Academy Awards have recognized great achievement in production design throughout the years. The award was originally called Art Direction, but the name was changed in 2012. Other classic films to have won the Oscar for Production Design include "Titanic", "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Doctor Zhivago", "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Gone With the Wind".
