Who Won 62nd Annual Tony Awards?

"In The Heights" won four Tony Awards in 2008 including Best Musical, but it was the revival of "South Pacific" which won the most Tony Awards - seven. The revival of "Gypsy" won three Tonys. "August: Osage County" dominated the play categories winning five Tonys including Best Play. The Regional Theatre Award was given to Chicago Shakespeare Theater and a Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Stephen Sondheim. A special Tony was given to Robert Russell Bennett, for achievements in orchestration. Whoopi Goldberg was the host of the 62nd Annual Tony Awards.
