The 21st Annual Critics Choice Awards were held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and hosted by T.J. Miller. "Mad Max: Fury Road" won the most awards with nine (and went into the evening with the most nominations with 13). "Spotlight" won three awards, including Best Picture. Amy Schumer was presented with the "MVP Award." Industrial Light & Magic was given the "Genius Award."
