Starting with "Dang Me" by Roger Miller in 1965 the Grammy Awards have awarded their Country Album of the Year Award throughout the years. The Grammy was not awarded between 1967-1994. The Dixie Chicks have won country album of the year four times. Chris Stapleton has won three times. Roger Miller won the first two awards. Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert have also won twice.
