From Perry Como in 1959 to Bruno Mars in 2011 the Grammy Awards awarded the Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Male Grammy. Starting in 2012 the award was combined with female pop vocal performance and became Best Pop Solo performance. Multiple winners of the Pop Male Grammy Award have included Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Phil Collins, James Taylor, Harry Nilsson, Ray Charles, Jack Jones, and Frank Sinatra.
