The 2004 VMA's were held on August 29 at American Airlines Arena in Miami. Outkast's "Hey Ya!" won four awards including Video of the Year. Jay-Z's "99 Problems" also won four Video Music Awards. Performances were given by Usher, Hoobastank, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Nelly and more.
