The Men's Biathlon Relay has four biathletes who each ski 7.5 kilometers (three laps with two shooting rounds).

The event was introduced at the 1968 winter games, and the Soviet Union won the first six gold medals. Since then Germany has dominated winning four of the last six gold medals.
