Who Won Men's Figure Skating Gold Medals?

Men's Figure Skating

Men's Figure Skating has been a staple of the Winter Olympics since the early 1900s. It is now one of the most popular events.

The event has two parts - short program and the free skate which include mandatory skills. The judges score the skaters on technical merit and presentation.

The Gold Medal winner in 2010 was Evan Lysacek, who broke a string of five straight gold medalists from Russia. Other Americans to win the gold include Brian Boitano in 1988, Scott Hamilton in 1984, David Jenkins in 1960, Hayes Alan Jenkins in 1956, and Dick Button in both 1948 and 1952. Gillis Grafstrom of Sweden is the only three time gold medalist.
